The
Institute of Horse Girl Research

Collecting data on experiences of equine friendship, appreciation, and dreams. Using community sourced testimonies of horse affinity, we chart the phenomenon of human-horse connections as they emerge from childhood and shift throughout the lifetime of the average horse admirer.

Horses were domesticated thousands of years ago. Across several cultures horses are symbols of power, grace, and beauty. Since horses have shared fields with our earliest ancestors, they have shaped our psyche in mysterious ways.

We collect real stories to demystify the occurrence of human-horse dreaming. From our data we offer horse enthusiasts valuable opportunities to reconnect with or sustain dreams of horse friendship.
